Overview

Your Desert Storm Egypt Tours guide will be waiting in your hotel lobby, holding a sign with the company name. From there you will travel to the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and enjoy panoramic views of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. As you move around the plateau you will visit the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple, which was used for the mummification process of the king. Along the way there will be many outstanding photo stops. You will then visit the Egyptian Museum, which displays more than 250,000 pieces and a rare collection of Egyptian art. The visit will include the Tutankhamen room, showing the treasure, jewellery and gold that were enclosed in his tomb and discovered in 1920 when his tomb was excavated. Finally, you will head to the bazaar of Khan El Khalili to explore local life in and around the market and to see how people live and trade there.
