One Package Abu Simbel Temples with Philae Temple and High Dam From Aswan

You’ll be picked up early from your accommodation and travel in a door-to-door, air-conditioned minivan or minibus with a qualified Egyptologist as your guide. The morning is spent at the Abu Simbel temples, whose monumental façades and unique architectural style are considered masterpieces of ancient Egypt. As you move through the complex, your guide will explain the history, symbolism and the stories behind the colossal statues and reliefs. After returning to Aswan you’ll have time for lunch and then continue to local highlights: the island Philae Temple and the Aswan High Dam. At Philae you’ll hear about the temple’s religious importance and its relocation, and at the High Dam you’ll learn about the modern engineering that reshaped the Nile and the surrounding region. The day combines ancient monuments and modern landmarks, with guided commentary throughout to give historical and cultural context.
