The experience
Overview
You will travel through the night to Mount Sinai and make a night-time climb to reach the summit of Moses Mountain in time for sunrise. The ascent in the dark leads to the mountain top, where you will watch the sun rise from atop Moses Mountain and experience the changing light over the landscape as morning breaks. After dawn you will descend and visit St Catherine, one of the oldest Christian monasteries in the world. The monastery is built around the site of the Burning Bush, and your visit will take you to that historic area as you explore the monastery grounds and surroundings.
