Overview

At Space Observers Egypt you will spend an evening under the clear skies of the Egyptian desert, using a GPS-directed 15-inch Meade telescope to explore stars and deep-space objects. The site in the desert offers some of the best conditions on Earth for observing the night sky, and the experience is designed to suit families, couples and friends. Along the way, the observatory’s equipment and your guide’s explanations will help you see and understand faint objects and familiar constellations in the amazing sky of Egypt. Founded in 2008, Space Observers Egypt is the oldest and most experienced company in the astronomy field in the Middle East and has more than 15 years’ experience as tour operators. A team of 10 professional, astronomically specialised guides will lead the session and may provide commentary in different languages. You’ll leave the experience with a clearer sense of the Universe and a deeper appreciation of deep-space objects.
