Luma e Sameh, they we're simply amazing. They are good owners and good cooking teachers but first of all they are very kind, funny and generous... we felt like if we were at home. I can say only 'thanks' and if you can, go to their lesson. The place is not properly in the center but with a cheap uber you can reach them easily.

So worth it, like genuinely one of the best things we did in Egypt. Sameh and Roza were so kind, so welcoming, extremely funny and made us feel immediately at home. Would absolutely recommend walking through the market with them. Closest I think you can get to life without living there. 10/10 experience.

I highly recommend spending an afternoon in the non-touristy area of El Maadi with Roza&Moha: you'll have the funniest and most authentic experience in Cairo of all! First shopping for food at the local open-air market by tuk-tuk and then cooking it (and of course tasting it!) in their cozy home while chatting about recipes, traditions, and cultural differences. It was so interesting and eye-opening I would do it again and again. Thank you so much guys!!!

I've travelled in Egypt from north to south and south to north. I saw many places and did many things but cooking and learning to cook with Sameh and Nagwa was, perhaps, one of the best experience ever. You go to the local market to pick up the products you'll use to cook, you have an immerse experience where local people goes. Then go to your hosts house where you'll feel that you are visiting family. The most lovely people I met in my entire trip. At the end you leave the house feeling that you learn to cook, you had a good dinner and you made amazing friends. If you are looking for an uniqu
