It was my dream of mine to fly for the 1st time over Luxor in a hot air ballon ride. And it did not disappoint. It was amazing!! The experience, the sunset, the background, the people. We really enjoyed our hot air ballon ride. The company was amazing with us! It had to be rescheduled 2 times, because of bad weather (out of their control, it's the Civil Aviation Autorities that decide the evening before) BUT they were great at communicating the infos and reschedule for the next day. Once in a lifetime experience! We had the best time - it was extremely special. We were very lucky that the weather was on our side, as there had been cancellations for about 2 weeks. There was a moment where all the balloon staff got the all clear from flight control to get in the air, and the place erupted with cheers, excitement and the sound of the huge fans inflating the balloons.
