Our local guide hosny zahran was excellent. He spoke several languages. Was friendly and very knowledgable. The day was wonderfull, he went out of his way to be helpfull.
What a wonderful day we had at the new Grand Egyptian Museum. We were picked up from the Four Seasons Nile Plaza Hotel at 8.30 by Hosny our Egyptologist and guide for the day. I must say Hosny was just amazing, speaking such clear English he was very easy to understand and of course his knowledge excellent. He was also very careful not to cram too much information but gave us the most important facts about the exhibits. The Museum buildings are incredible and certainly a huge highlight in themselves, such amazing architecture. We were blown away by the exhibits of course especially Tutankhamun
The Grand Egyptian Museum is a very large museum and could get a bit overwhelming hence, I would highly recommend booking a guided tour to better enjoy the experience. Our guide Hosney was great at walking us through the most important parts of the museum and providing us with all the historical information. Do not miss this experience it’s a must!
Best guide ever, he knows his work he is well educated but most of all he loves his work and he always with a smile on his face making you feel Comfortable during the guide. I would easily recommend him everyone!
