Luxor West Bank Group Tour: Valley of the Kings–Hatshepsut Temple–Memnon Colossi

Overview

A professional English-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you by air-conditioned vehicle to the old necropolis in the Theban Mountains on the West Bank of Luxor. At the Valley of the Kings you will descend into three royal tombs, seeing their burial chambers and decorated walls as you move through this historic site. You will then visit the rock-cut mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir el Bahari, where the guide will point out the most notable murals and give you time to wander the terraces on your own. Along the way there will be a stop for photographs at the Colossi of Memnon — two immense statues that stand beside the ongoing excavation of the palace of Amenhotep III. After the visits you will be taken back to your hotel.
