Overview

On this half-day private tour you’ll explore the West Bank of Luxor and the Theban Necropolis, visiting several important mortuary temples and an artisan village. You’ll see the Mortuary Temple of King Ramses III at Madinat Habu and the mortuary temple of Ramses II (the Ramesseum), where your guide will explain their history and the battles and events associated with Ramses II. As you move through the sites, you’ll also visit Deir El Madina, the Valley of the Artisans, and learn about the lives, beliefs and work of the craftsmen who built and decorated the royal tombs. Along the way you’ll receive personalised commentary from a private, expert guide and travel comfortably between sites in an air‑conditioned vehicle.
