On the West Bank of Luxor, this West Bank Luxor Expedition balances iconic sites and lesser-known monuments, led by an expert Egyptologist who brings the dust of history to life. As you move through the area, you'll visit the Valley of the Kings, where your guide will hand-select three of the best-preserved tombs from the day’s rotation so you can see the most vibrant hieroglyphs and funerary art. Along the way you will also see the Valley of the Queens, known as the Place of Beauty, with the option to visit the richly decorated tomb of Nefertari. You will admire the daring, three-tiered design of the Temple of Hatshepsut set against towering limestone cliffs, and explore Madinat Habu, a site often overlooked by standard groups. The visit will end with the Colossi of Memnon, the pair of monumental statues that mark this part of the West Bank.
