Overview

On the East Bank of Luxor, often called the “city of the living”, you will visit two of Egypt’s most famous temple complexes. A qualified Egyptology tour guide will lead your exploration of Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, placing the monuments in historical context and explaining their significance as you move through the sites. The pace will be relaxed so you can take in the architecture and atmosphere at each location. You will also see the Avenue of Sphinxes, the ancient route that once linked the two temples, and view the area where it was first discovered. To make the experience easier, you will have private door-to-door transfer at your Luxor hotel in an A/C vehicle, so travel between your hotel and the East Bank will be comfortable and straightforward.
