Overview
A Bastet Travel licensed tour guide will collect you from your hotel, Nile cruise or Luxor airport and transfer you in a private air‑conditioned vehicle to the West Bank of Luxor. There you will visit the Valley of the Kings, where you will explore the royal tombs and their ancient decorations. You will then see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, known as El Dir El Bahari (Deir el‑Bahari), and continue to the Colossi of Memnon, the surviving remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. After the West Bank visits, you will cross to the East Bank to visit the vast Karnak Temple complex and finish at the Temple of Luxor. Along the way you will encounter monumental architecture, ancient reliefs and inscriptions that reflect Egypt’s pharaonic history. At the end of the day you will be driven back to your hotel in Luxor, or the tour can be concluded at Luxor airport if you prefer.
