In a village on an island in the River Nile, you will live alongside a small local community and experience life on Egyptian farms and fields beside the river. The stay places you within a close-knit rural setting where everyday work and the landscape of the Nile’s banks shape daily life. You will be part of a community of about 150 people, with neighbours, family and colleagues nearby. There will be regular adult company and practical support when needed. Along the way you may share in ordinary village conversations—gossip, jokes, problem‑solving and quieter moments of reflection—and feel the social entertainment and backing that comes from being among adults in a shared household.
