Overview

This private full-day tour in Luxor takes you through several of the city's most important ancient sites. You will visit the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens to see royal burial places, explore the Temple of Queen Hatchepsut, view the Colossi of Memnon, and walk around Medinet Habu and the Workmen's Village. The day also includes a visit to the tomb of the Great Queen Nefertari. As you move between these locations, you will encounter a mix of tombs, temple architecture and monumental sculpture. Along the way you can explore scenes of ancient ritual and everyday life preserved in stone and ruins, and gain a broad sense of the funerary complexes, royal monuments and workers’ settlement that make Luxor an archaeological heartland.
