Guided tour-transfer Luxor to Aswan over Esna, Edfu and Kom Ombo

Overview

Instead of loosing a vacation-day to get from one city to the next, you will visit the three famous temples of Esna, Edfu and Kom Ombo during your transfer from Luxor to Aswan. All temples were constructed during the Ptolemaic era (Macedonian Greek) from 332 BCE, when Alexander the Great conquered Egypt, to the death of Cleopatra VII in 30 BCE, the last Dynasty of Ancient Egypt. The Egyptians accepted the rule of the Ptolemaic Pharaohs because they kept the pantheon of ancient Egyptian Gods alive. Visit these remarkable temples and admire the change of style in art compared with the ancient temples of Karnak, Luxor and Abu Simbel.

The owner of the tour was very prompt with his messaging and communication. The car and the guide arrived on time and even waited 30 minutes since my balloon ride had been delayed due to weather conditions. So far so good. The problem started when the trip started and it was primarily because of the guide and to an extent the driver (at the end of the trip) About the guide: The guide seemed tired and uninspired right from the beginning. It almost felt like he was compelled to do his job. That impacts the experience. In addition his knowledge of Egyptian history was very basic and in some cases
