I have seen pictures, read books and watched documentaries, but nothing prepares you for the sheer, raw scale of the pyramids! My guide Khaled turned a this visit of a massive stone field into a vibrant, living history lesson. he did not just rattle off dates and names, he wove a magnificent and compelling narrative about the pharaohs, the engineers including the daily lives of the thousands of workers who built these monumental structures. Being able to go up into the great pyramid was very nice. It was also a good workout. Bishoy took us to a good spot to get pictures.

The tour was in depth and you get to see all the many sites that are popular. The guide was also extremely knowledgeable. It was memorable experience. My only complaint is that I was overcharged on number of occasions by the tour guide for extra parts of the tour as learned being in Egypt over many days. I would advise you question any additional charges.
