Overview

Skip the ticket queue at the entrance and walk straight onto the Giza plateau with pre-booked admission to Egypt's most famous site. This is general site-access entry, valid for the day, letting you explore the three great pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure and the Great Sphinx entirely at your own pace, with no fixed schedule and no group to keep up with. Your mobile ticket covers the main plateau, so you can wander the desert edge, find the panorama point where all three pyramids line up for the classic photograph, and get up close to the weathered flanks of the Great Pyramid. It is an ideal choice if you would rather set your own rhythm than follow a tour, or if you are pairing the pyramids with other Cairo plans. Note that admission to the interior chambers of the pyramids, the Solar Boat Museum and camel or horse rides on the plateau are ticketed separately on site, and this booking does not include a guide or transport. Arrive earlier in the day to beat the heat and the busiest hours. Comfortable shoes, a hat, water and sunscreen make all the difference, as there is very little shade out on the sand.
