You will visit some of the most famous ancient sites near Cairo, starting with the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. As you move through the plateau, you will see the monumental pyramids up close and the iconic Sphinx nearby. The tour also includes the older Step Pyramid at Sakkara, where you will observe one of Egypt’s earliest large stone structures. Along the way you will explore the Dahshur pyramids and visit Memphis, the first ancient capital of Egypt, learning about its place in the country’s early history. Lunch is included during the day.
