Overview

A Visitors Egypt Tour representative will pick you up from your hotel for an excursion to the Giza plateau. You will see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, then proceed to the Great Sphinx, which dates from the time of Chephren. As you move through the site, the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple that belongs to the pyramid of Chephren. You will have lunch at a local restaurant before moving on to the Egyptian Museum. The museum features artefacts from the Pharaonic period and displays a rare collection spanning 5,000 years of art. It is considered one of the largest, most precious collections of Egyptian art in the world, with over 250,000 genuine artefacts on display. This includes an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen’s treasure — gold and jewellery that remained in his tomb for more than 3,500 years until its discovery in the 1920s. After the museum visit, you will be returned to your hotel.
