Overview

This experience takes you to the Giza Pyramids, where ancient monuments rise from the desert. You will see the Great Pyramid of Giza up close and can take in its scale and history. Alongside it are the Pyramid of Khafre, watched over by the Sphinx, and the smaller Pyramid of Menkaure, each illustrating different aspects of ancient Egyptian architecture and burial practice. As you move through the site, you may imagine the ceremonies and rituals that once took place within these structures. You will also spend time in the Ancient Egyptian Museum, wandering its halls and seeing artefacts that tell the stories of pharaohs and queens. Exhibits and objects help explain royal life, beliefs and craftsmanship from ancient Egypt.
