Overview

On this private day trip from Cairo you will explore some of Egypt’s most iconic ancient sites with an Egyptologist as your guide. You’ll start at Giza to view the pyramids, stand before the Great Sphinx and see the Valley Temple, learning about the history and construction of each monument as you move through the site. In the afternoon you will continue to Saqqara to admire the Step Pyramid of Djoser (Zoser) and its surrounding complex. You’ll also visit the ruins of ancient Memphis, where you can see remnants of the city including the fallen statue of Ramses II.
