From Cairo Overnight Trip to St. Catherine Monastery and Mount Sinai

Overview

This experience takes you from Cairo to St. Catherine, arriving in the afternoon and staying overnight before an early start. You will wake before dawn and hike the mountain in darkness so you can watch the sunrise from the summit. Along the way and as you descend, you will visit one of Christianity’s oldest monasteries in St. Catherine, built around the site of the Burning Bush, where you can explore its historic setting and learn about its significance. After breakfast you will return to Cairo. You will need to send a copy of your passport to the local partner no later than two days before the tour.
