Fayoum Oasis Tour Hidden Gem Wadi El Rayan & Valley of the Whales

A wonderfully organized tour with stunning desert scenery and a fascinating visit to Whale Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Amn, our guide, was excellent — knowledgeable and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and enriching. Highly recommend to anyone looking to explore Egypt beyond the usual paths.

We were looking for something unique to do on an extra day in Cairo. The tour to Valley of the Whales with oasis, lakes and waterfall was fantastic - more people need to be aware of this experience with the fascinating history of what was once ocean and now desert and the discoveries made there. The tour also included a delicious lunch at a Bedouin camp. It is a long day but there is no one better to spend it with than our personable and knowledgable driver/guide Khalid. He really went above and beyond! He made sure we had the best day! We highly recommend this tour with Khalid!

Une très belle sortie à faire si vous êtes de passage au Caire. Ça fait du bien de sortir du bruit de la ville et les paysages sont magnifiques. Nous avons fait cette sortie avec ma femme et mon fils de 3 ans. Ça nous à donné envie de faire cette sortie sur 2 jours avec une nuit passée dans le désert. Quoi qu'il en soit nous recommandons vivement cette excursion.

Imádjuk a természetet, ezért nagyon jó választás volt nekünk ez a program. Csodálatos volt a sivatag, az ősi bálnák és más állatok fosszíliái, az élettel és színekkel teli oázisok, a rengeteg madár. A legjobb viszont a vezetőn volt! Khaled Al Faramawy a legkedvesebb ember, akivel Egyiptomban találkoztunk. Jól felkészült, kedves ember. Mindenkit ismert, mindent azonnal el tudott intézni. A teljes napot úgy igazította, hogy nekünk a legjobb legyen. Majdnem 10 órás volt a program és végig nagyon élvezetes. Köszönjük Khaled, remélem még találkozunk!

overall good experience but we were unlucky to have a guide who was unprofessional, lazy, inexperienced, and absent. My partner and I had the Overnight camping and safari experience since we wanted to experience the sunset, stargazing, and sunrise in the desert. The camping this operator works with is the “White Desert Camp”. Drinks were not included, and honestly I didn’t hear my guide mentioning anything about this until my 3rd tea in the evening, but maybe he mentioned it before and I just didn’t hear it.
