Overview

In this creative workshop you will discover many things about your personal powers. You will decipher your name by working with its letters and translate your birthdate into its Egyptian numeral. Along the way, you will gain a clear idea of how the ancient Egyptians built temples and tombs and of their remarkable achievements. The session finishes with a hands-on creative task: you will develop ideas for funny pieces inspired by the ancient Egyptian alphabet and emblems. You will practise those ideas by hand, using pencils and the coloured pens provided, so you leave with your own small, playful creations reflecting what you have learned.
