The car picked us up exactly on time from our hotel in Giza and drove us to Alexandria through dense traffic but safely. Our guide Naelah was charming, very well informed, spoke excellent English and had arranged our visit in detail with all entry tickets so we avoided all the queues for our visits. We learned a lot about the history and culture of Alexandria, and the visits to the Library and the Citadel were highlights in spite of being a bit rushed. Naelah recommended a superb lunch in the fish market with unbeatable views of the Old Port which we really appreciated. Altogether a memorable
