The excursion itself to Cairo and the Pyramids and museums in itself was fantastic. The guide was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the history and culture and throughly enjoyed that part of the trip. The only downside of the experience was the costing was not made clear enough. We ended up paying an additional fee, on top of the trip fee, of 15 dollars per person for transfer to and from hotel to Hurghada airport. The operator was after 50 dollars per person and it was only made clear this was additional payment once we were on the excursion in Cairo. Surely if you have payed for an e

We booked a day trip from Hurghada to Cairo, flying in with transfers included, and it turned out to be a truly memorable adventure. The itinerary was full-on, but well-paced, and offered a great mix of iconic sights and cultural stops. Our day started early — we were collected from our hotel at 4:00 AM and transferred to the airport for a 7:40 AM flight to Cairo. We landed at 8:40 AM and were met just outside the airport by our guide for the day, Mai, who stayed with us throughout. She was lively, chatty, and incredibly knowledgeable — not just about ancient history and the pyramids, but also

Really!!! Are yous having a laugh, asking me for a review?! I booked a day trip to Cairo through Viator weeks ago! I was so looking forward to the trip. I went to reception at 4am to be picked up and the tour guide/operator didn’t come!! I was so upset and angry was crying because they still took the money out my bank!! Absolutely disgusting shocking to say the least!! I’ve now had to book elsewhere!!

For half of the trip they put me with a German speaking guide who didn’t translate everything so I missed out on a lot of information. Two other guests had their flight back to hurghada at 19:40 whilst I had to wait around on my own until 22:20 I was not happy with this! I booked my trip many months in advance so the tour operator had plenty of time to get it right and not make me wait around for hours. My English speaking guide when I finally met her was wonderful but I would only book this trip if you speak German otherwise you miss out on lots of information from the first half of the morni

After arriving in Hurghada, we had paid for the transfer to the Hotel. No one came and I found a taxi myself and paid for it!!! The tour was good, only the last moment with the transfer made me sad. Best Regard. AD

This was a great trip overall, however for me there were some flaws. It was a 3am pick up time, 6am flight from Hurghada to Cairo. The museum, pyramids and sphinx were all great things to see. The optional extras were the Nile boat ride and the Camel ride. However, as I was the only English speaker in the group (the rest were German), I had a separate guide (Sameh was his name) who was keeping me away from the rest of the group and charged me a higher price for the optional extras. He probably kept the extra money for himself, which makes me upset as I left him with a generous tip at the end o
