Overview
On this private day tour from Cairo, a tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the pyramids at Dahshour and Saqqara. At Dahshour you will see the Red Pyramid, described here as the first complete pyramid, and the Bent Pyramid. Both structures are said to belong to King Senefro, and you will be able to view their unique shapes and construction as you move around the site. You will then transfer to Saqqara, the oldest necropolis for kings, princes and nobles, where you will visit the Zoser structure — noted here as the first stone structure in the ancient world — and see the Step Pyramid of King Zoser. Lunch is included during the tour at a local restaurant, with vegetarian options available if required. At the end of the day you will be driven back to your hotel in Cairo.
