Day Tour at The Pyramids and The Egyptian Museum

Overview

A Visitors Egypt Tour representative will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Giza plateau to see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. As you move through the site, you will also see the Great Sphinx, which dates from the time of Chephren, and visit the Valley Temple that belongs to the pyramid of Chephren. You will have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the Egyptian Museum. The museum features artefacts from the Pharaonic period and displays a rare collection spanning 5,000 years of art. Over 250,000 authentic items are presented, including a dedicated exhibit of Tutankhamen’s treasures — gold and jewellery that were enclosed in his tomb for more than 3,500 years until their discovery in the 1920s. After the visit, you will be taken back to your hotel.
