Very good and honest driver, he showed us around the city and was very puntual at every destination. 10 out of 10
The driver was exceptional, very helpful, thank you Ahmed. The visits was great but it’s mentionned that the tickets are included but no.
Got picked up by a nice newer car with air conditioning- this ride was VIP all the way. Our guide was Ahmed Nour Kadder, we was super knowledgeable and passionate about his history. The Citadel was beautiful, you felt a sense os reverence. Ahmed explained the Muslim religion and their customs, The museum did not have air conditioning, they did have some fans so it was toasty walking around, not sure what the government does with all the money of the sold Egyptian treasures, seriously they need to put AC in the museum. Advise- Take a fan and water. It was awesome ti see mummies. The Bazar, well
I had a young lady as my host guide , she was GREAT ! Very knowledgeable with the ancient history of Egypt. She explained the mosque and some of the beliefs clearly , I personally learned a great deal of information about a different culture and its people. We went to the market , I found another brass lamp to bring home as a reminder of the GREAT day I enjoyed !!! It is a must see !!! Fantastic experience !!!!!!!!!!!
Guide took me to a shop in Khan khalili bazaar straight to rip me off - the asking price of that shop is 3x higher than competitors 5m away, for the exact same product. She also did bare minimum explanation at the museum, e.g. I had to ask who are the people portrayed in the statue she brought me to (statue of Amenhotep III and Tiye) because she just simply said it's the first one in the museum and nothing else.
Nothing I write will begin to describe the perfect day I had with my guide, Mina, and driver, Syed. From the on time pickup, mind blowing, in depth explanation at the museum, the kind offers to regularly take my photo, and the history lessons at each stops… I could go on and on. I can honestly say I feel like I made 2 new friends after our adventures today.
