Cairo Half Day Tour to The old Museum of Egyptian Antiquities

Had a great half day tour of the Egyptian Museum with my guide Rania, who was a volunteer here for a few years and she showed me some of her favorite things. Even though GEM is huge, there are still amazing things to see here lake the Narmer Pallet, the Fayoum Mummies/Portraits, King Psusennes' gold mask from Tanis, and some very cool Akhnaten statues. EMO Tours made booking and communication easy; and said no problem to wanting to book a female guide (as a solo female traveler)- highly recommend this very organized tour company.

The trip to the museum was a wonderful experience today. I especially want to highlight the great museum guide, who was very knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything in a clear and engaging way. The taxi ride was also safe and pleasant Muhammed, the driver, took his time, was very friendly, and acted highly professional. He is extremely reliable, attentive, and makes sure you feel comfortable and safe at all times. Highly recommended both the museum visit and the ride. I would definitely do it the same way again!

Good half-day trip to the Old Museum with an experienced and funny guide that left us time to explore a bit ourselves, though the museum was unfortunately rather crowded at the time, and you would need days to really see everything. Lunch included (drinks extra). Some religious views were included that took some getting used to, it is a sensitive subject. Extra purchases are available if you are interested in what they offer.
