Cairo Day Visiting Egyptian museum, Old Cairo & Ben Ezra Synagogue & Old Bazaar
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
A tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and take you to the Egyptian Museum. There you will explore artefacts from the Pharaonic period spanning some 5,000 years of art. The museum is described as the largest, most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world and displays more than 250,000 genuine objects. You will see an exhibit devoted to the treasures of Tutankhamen, including gold and jewellery that remained in his tomb for over 3,500 years until its discovery in 1922. After the museum visit, you will have lunch at a local restaurant. You will then move on to Old Cairo to visit historic religious sites such as the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Along the way you will learn about the area’s long and varied history. If there is enough time, the tour will include a drive to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East. At the end of the day you will be transferred back to your hotel.
