Overview

You’ll explore Cairo’s most iconic sites with a private Egyptologist guide and a private air‑conditioned vehicle throughout. At Giza you’ll see the Great Pyramids — Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure — and take in the nearby Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. At the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) you’ll view highlights such as the Khufu Solar Boat and the complete Tutankhamun Collection, with expert commentary to put the objects into context. Along the way you’ll visit Coptic Cairo, including the Hanging Church, Abu Serga and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, then head to the Citadel of Saladin to admire the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. You’ll also have free time to walk and shop in the historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
