On this overnight adventure from Cairo, you will travel to the historic Bahariya Oasis in the Western Desert and then head out into the surrounding sands to explore the region’s most striking landscapes. Along the way you will visit Crystal Mountain, see the volcanic ridges of the Black Desert and explore the contrasting, otherworldly terrain referred to as the White Desert. The trip focuses on those unique regions, so you will spend time taking in the changing colours and shapes of the landscape as you move between sites. You will camp in the desert under the stars and will have the chance to swim in natural hot springs. Alongside the scenery and geology, you may also encounter wildlife typical of the area, such as fennec desert foxes, though sightings are not guaranteed. Overall, the experience combines historic oasis life with an opportunity to sleep in the desert and to explore the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain and the White Desert in one compact overnight adventure.
