Overview

This private, hassle-free tour from Luxor to Aswan takes you to several of Upper Egypt’s best-known temples. On the journey to Aswan, you will stop to see Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Along the way you will also visit the Kom Ombo Temple and the Philae Temple, or Philae Island, before heading to your hotel in Aswan. You will then travel from Aswan to Abu Simbel, roughly 300 km away, to visit the temple of King Ramses II. This complex is noted for the level of preservation found in its structures, inscriptions and colours. After Abu Simbel, you will return by road and either continue back to Luxor or be dropped off in Aswan at your hotel or the airport, depending on your preference.
