This experience takes you into the heart of ancient Egypt, with guided visits in Luxor, Dendera and Abydos. On Luxor’s East and West Banks, you will explore the monumental Karnak Temple and the atmospheric Luxor Temple, then move on to the Valley of the Kings to see the royal tombs and learn about their funerary art and architecture. You will also visit the Temple of Hathor at Dendera, noted for its celestial decorations, and travel to Abydos to see the Temple of Seti I, famous for its finely carved reliefs and the well-known King List. Along the way, expert-led commentary will provide historical context and insights, and organised travel arrangements will aim to combine sightseeing with cultural immersion. Domestic flights and hotel accommodation are not included and will be at your own expense.
