Overview

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel entrance at the scheduled time and go over the planned stops. You’ll have a chance to adjust the plan before you set off, and the guide will be on hand to answer questions along the way. You’ll visit the Great Pyramids of Giza first, where you can take in wide views, take photographs and even hop on a camel if you wish. As you move through the site, your guide will share stories and context about these ancient monuments. Nearby, you’ll stop at the Sphinx to see the famous limestone sculpture up close and hear about its history and the legends that surround it. Later, you’ll explore the Grand Egyptian Museum and see artefacts from ancient Egypt, including treasures associated with King Tutankhamun and thousands of other items. The day finishes at Saqqara, where you’ll see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, widely recognised as the oldest pyramid in the world. Throughout the experience, your guide will provide commentary to help you understand each site’s significance and context.
