Overview

You will see the highlights of three major Egyptian cities: Cairo, Giza and Luxor. In Cairo you will visit the Coptic area with some of Egypt’s most popular churches, including the Cave Church. You will also see the Egyptian Museum and explore Islamic Cairo, where the Citadel of Saladin, the Mosque of Mohamed Ali and the old market of Khan Elkhalili are included as highlights. In Giza you will explore the Pyramids of Giza, including Cheops, Khefren and Mechrenius, and you are also able to visit the Sakkara archaeological site and the ancient site of Memphis. In Luxor you will explore the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsuit and the giant statues of Memnon in one day. On a second day in Luxor you will visit the Temple of Luxor and the temples of Karnak. During your stay you will enjoy a lunch meal each day featuring different traditional Egyptian foods. Accommodation in Cairo and Luxor is provided on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
