This trip provides a good balance between seeing some wonderful ancient Egyptian tombs and artifacts — and seeing a slice of the life of modern Egyptians. Amazing to see that the Great pyramid us in the center if a bustling city. Sakkara is a fascinating site and the Tombs of Unas and Ibut are small but very interesting. Great wall carvings. We also went to a very good carpet making school and shop. Definitely worth seeing. Memphis has some wonderful sculptures including a huge limestone sculpture if Rameses Ii.

Everything was perfect. Would recommend. Convenient way to see these historical sites without having to worry about how to get from one place to the other.

Red and Bent pyramids were both super cool. Wasn't so interested in the Step pyramid and didn't like being bombarded with requests for tips at every turn there. The Memphis museum just felt like a tourist trap. My driver was very friendly and a nice guy, just wish the sights had been a little more substantive.

The guide was very good, explained everything to us. And it took us to the places we wanted. Excellent service.
