Overview

This four-day journey through Egypt begins in Luxor, where an expert Odysseys Voyage guide will welcome you. In Luxor you'll explore the East Bank's Karnak and Luxor Temples, then cross the Nile to the West Bank to walk among the royal monuments of the Valley of the Kings. Along the way you'll visit the striking mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and see the Colossi of Memnon. You will continue on to Aswan to visit Philae Temple, set on its own island, and learn about its history and architecture. The experience concludes with a visit to the High Dam followed by a trip to the grand Abu Simbel Temples, notable examples of ancient engineering and artistry. Domestic flights and hotel accommodation are excluded and would be at the traveller’s own expense.
