We had a fantastic two days’ worth of tours with our guide Emad who was absolutely first class. We also appreciated the driving by Ammar which felt very safe after the madness (!) we had struggled to get used to in Cairo traffic. Fortunately the traffic and standard of driving in Luxor is infinitely better which was a relief. Emad was incredibly knowledgeable and was a great narrator of Egyptian history. We went with the Luxor Egypt Tour agency and, although we were unfortunate enough to get stomach problems (my 8-year-old son and my husband), Emad and Ahmed were very attentive, offering options for adapting the tour and changing the dates several times to ensure we were well.
