Upon arrival at St. Catherine, we were introduced to our guides—two for our group. While one had limited English proficiency, both demonstrated goodwill and ensured a smooth journey. We commenced our climb around 2 am, a journey that lasted approximately 3-4 hours. The path was technically easy, with a well-, trail leading to 700 steps. Holy Journey, Unforgettable Experience I embarked on this sacred journey and was truly captivated by it. I highly recommend it to those in good physical condition. We arrived at 1:30 am and began our ascent around 2 am. The climb takes 3-4 hours, but the breathtaking views make it all worthwhile. Be prepared for the cold; I recommend bringing snow jackets as it can be very chilly—I was nearly freezing. We descended around 8:30 am and visited the monastery, where we saw the burning bush and the church. It was truly a super trip.
