How visible is your research, and how can you extend its reach and impact? This practical workshop will offer strategies for researchers related to enhancing the visibility and impact of their research. Participants will explore how to effectively use Google Scholar, ORCID and other tools to strengthen their online research presence and make their work more discoverable. The workshop will also introduce key research metrics for assessing scholarly reach and impact, including citation-based indicators and other measures of research engagement. In addition, participants will learn strategies for making informed decisions about where to publish. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with basic skills for strengthening their scholarly profiles and enhancing the visibility and impact of their research within and beyond academic communities.
