Durante dos días, con base en Luxor y Asuán, visitará algunos de los monumentos más famosos del sur de Egipto. El primer día viajarás a Asuán para ver la Presa Alta, construida entre 1960 y 1970 para proteger a Egipto de las inundaciones y generar electricidad. También podrás contemplar el Obelisco Inacabado, el obelisco más largo de Egipto, y explorar el Templo de Philae, donde aprenderás sobre la historia de amor de Isis y Osiris. El almuerzo durante la visita a Asuán está incluido. El segundo día se dirigirán a Abu Simbel para explorar los enormes templos excavados en la roca. Visitarás el gran templo de Ramsés II y el templo vecino dedicado a la reina Nefertari (el templo de Hathor). La experiencia de dos días finaliza con su regreso a Luxor.

I was a little unsure about this tour as from the description in Viator I had understood all transfers would be done by private car. Turns out even though you get a driver, the transfer from Luxor to Aswan is through train. The first day started off rocky as our driver left us in the train station and told us to take the first train and we did; and it ended up being the wrong train. After a few stressful moments with the conductor we were allowed to stay on board. Philae temple was beautiful!!! Totally recommend. The high dam was okay but then again it’s a dam, that’s all there is to see. The
This trip was a great experience. Ahmed, our tour guide, let feel us like really personal guests. He was managing all perfectly and was providing all detailed information about the sights. We enjoyed his honest nubian hospitality and the familiar atmosphere. So again 1000 thanks to Ahmed for this 2 unforgettable days full of great experience. And also thanks to the drivers, who did a very well job and ensured a comfortable mobility.
