Heavily coral-encrusted upturned hull. Light through the portholes gives a cathedral effect inside. Depth 15–30 m; day boat. British sail-and-steam vessel, launched 14 December 1872; struck the reef on 25 April 1876 after the captain misjudged his position in the Gulf of Suez, capsized and sank. Lies upside down on the reef slope in about 25 m of water (Wikipedia).
