Sheltered lagoon anchorage a few miles south of Abu Nuhas, often used for the check dive or night dive on wreck itineraries. Easy shallow coral garden with good snorkelling. Frequent stop between the Abu Nuhas and Gubal moorings. Depth 5–30 m; liveaboard only; Light to moderate; sheltered lagoon on the leeward side current. Egyptian Red Sea marine protected area; HEPCA-maintained mooring buoys, anchoring prohibited
