A close-up reef map of Sha'ab Abu Nuhas will appear here when available.

A submerged triangular coral plateau lying directly across the shipping lane at the mouth of the Gulf of Suez, and the single most productive ship trap in the Red Sea. Four dived wrecks along the southern flank: Giannis D (west), Carnatic, Chrisoula K and Kimon M (east). Reef top at 1-5 m with a healthy hard coral garden between the wrecks. Depth 0–32 m; day boat; North to north-west, often strong on the northern face - which is why boats moor on the sheltered southern side and the north face is rarely divable current. Egyptian Red Sea marine protected area; HEPCA-maintained mooring buoys, anchoring prohibited
