The largest wreck in the Nabq area - Emperor Divers calls it the biggest shipwreck you will ever dive. Bridge and workshops are accessible and a heavily overgrown crane lies beside the hull. Depth 15–25 m; day boat; dived as a drift current. Bulk carrier, 175 m long and 26,181 tonnes (Emperor Divers); grounded on the reef north of Sharm. Circle Divers dates the grounding to 1996; other operator accounts give 1996 as the loss year with the ship stranded since. Within or adjacent to the Nabq Protected Area (declared 1992, IUCN Category VI).
