Large sheltered bay cutting into the Ras Mohammed peninsula, used as a check-dive and bad-weather alternative. The EEAA business plan names Sha'ab el-Talaba within the bay. Day boat; sheltered current. Inside Ras Mohammed National Park: declared 1983 by the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency, 480 km2 (135 km2 land, 345 km2 sea).
