Rusting bow section on the surface of the north-east corner of Jackson Reef acts as the reef's landmark. Depth to 48 m; day boat; strong current. Cypriot merchant ship of about 137 m, aground on Jackson Reef in 1982. The main hull rests at 48 m and deeper and is a technical dive only; the vessel was largely salvaged in 1996, leaving sections on the reef surface (dive-the-world).
