410 m long reef, the southernmost of the St John's group, about 30 km from the mainland. Coral gardens, caverns at 7-10 m and walls descending to about 20 m. A favourite night dive. Depth 7–30 m; liveaboard only; Moderate along the western and eastern sides; the area beneath the moorings is sheltered current. Red Sea Protectorates / Marsa Alam–Wadi el Gemal marine park area; Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) Red Sea Protectorates, with HEPCA involvement in mooring and site management.
